Sweet Potato Fries with Lemon Yoghurt Sauce

   
 

1 medium -  large sweet potato, peeled 

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary

1 teaspoon oregano, dried

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Salt & Pepper to taste



For the Lemon Yoghurt Sauce:

100g Greek yoghurt

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon dill

Pinch of salt




  1. Slice the potato into 1-2 cm thick slices

  2. In a large bowl toss the sliced sweet potato with the rosemary, oregano, garlic powder, cinnamon, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper until evenly coated

  3. Place half of the mixed sweet potatoes into the air fryer basket and cook at 180 degrees Celcius for 12-15 minutes (25-30 minutes for the oven)

  4. Once cooked, repeat this process with the remainder of the uncooked sweet potato

  5. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the Greek yoghurt, lemon juice, dill and salt

  6. Serve the chips hot with the lemon yoghurt sauce
