Asian Chicken Bowl

  Serves 3
 

2 garlic cloves sliced
300g frozen broccoli
1 teaspoon dried chilli flakes (optional)
1 chicken breast, diced
½ teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
5 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 teaspoon tamari
Extra virgin olive oil for cooking

 

  1. In a small pot, add some water to boil

  2. In that pot of boiling water add the frozen broccoli and allow to boil for 2-3 minutes

  3. In a large non-stick pot heat some extra virgin olive oil

  4. Add the garlic and the dried chilli flakes and the diced chicken

  5. Stir through the fish sauce and the soy sauce and cook until the chicken is cooked

  6. Once the broccoli is cooked, drain it, add it to the chicken pot and stir through

  7. Add the oyster sauce and tamari, and allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes

  8. Serve with rice
