Protein Waffles

  Serves 1
 

40g plain wholemeal flour

40g vanilla protein powder

Pinch of salt

140mL milk

40g extra virgin olive oil

1 egg

Fresh strawberries 

1 teaspoon honey (or maple syrup)


  1. Add the plain wholemeal flour, vanilla protein and salt in a large bowl

  2. Add the milk, extra virgin olive oil, and egg in that same bowl

  3. Whisk together until the batter is smooth

  4. Heat the waffle maker according the manufacturer's instructions

  5. Using a ½ cup measurement ladle in the batter mixture and seal, follow the manufacturer's instructions until the waffles are cooked

  6. Repeat this process until all of the waffles are cooked

  7. Serve with fresh strawberries and drizzle with honey
