Double Choc Oats

  Serves 1
 

½ cup quick oats

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 cup water

2 tablespoons milk**

1 serving chocolate protein powder

1.5 teaspoons cacao powder

¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground

 

To serve:

3 teaspoons dark chocolate chips

Dollop of Greek yoghurt

Fresh fruit of choice

 


  1. In a small pot, add the oats, chia seeds and water

  2. Turn on the stove and allow the pot to heat on medium heat, stirring the oat mixture

  3. Once the oat mixture starts to thicken, add the protein powder, cacao powder, cinnamon and milk

  4. Stir through until everything is combined

  5. Keep on the heat until desired thickness is achieved

  6. Transfer to serving bowl

  7. Add a dollop of Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit

  8. Place the dark chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat in 15 second intervals stirring at each interval until chocolate is melted

  9. Drizzle over the oats
